Hack the Planet -30 year anniversary of Hackers movie

2025 marks the 30 year anniversary of the cult classic film Hackers – the very movie that first got me into tech.

I’m looking at hosting the (UK) Manchester leg of a celebration screening, and I’d love to get a few volunteers involved to help make it happen.

Think of it as a community-driven event: a bit of nostalgia, a bit of networking, and a chance to honour the film that inspired a whole generation of us.
