How to use the Meta Tag Generator

This tool allows you to easily generate Meta Robot Tags for your website. Below are the steps on how to use this tool:

Step 1: Select Meta Robots Name

Choose whether the meta tag should apply to all robots or specifically to Googlebot.

Step 2: Select Meta Robots Content

Choose which rules should apply to robots. You can select multiple rules. For instance, if you don't want search engines to index your site or follow any links, select 'No Index' and 'No Follow'.

Step 3: Define Max Snippet

Specify the maximum number of characters that a search engine can display in a snippet for your site.

Step 4: Define Max Image Preview

Specify the maximum size of an image preview that a search engine can display for your site. Options include 'None', 'Standard', and 'Large'.

Step 5: Define Max Video Preview

Specify the maximum duration in seconds that a search engine can display a video snippet for your site.

Step 6: Generate Meta Tag

Click on the 'Generate Meta Tag' button. The tool will generate the Meta Robot Tag according to your preferences. The generated tag will appear in the text area below the button.

Step 7: Use the Generated Meta Tag

Copy the generated Meta Robot Tag and paste it into the head section of your website's HTML.
