How to use the Google IP Range Checker

Important Notes

IP ranges alone don't guarantee it's Googlebot - always use DNS verification for critical decisions
Google Cloud IPs can be used by any GCP customer, not just Google services
User-Agent strings can be spoofed - combine with IP and DNS checks
Results are cached for 1 hour to improve performance

Understanding Confidence Scores

70-100% (Likely Google): IP is in Google ranges AND passes DNS verification or User-Agent checks
40-69% (Uncertain): Some checks pass but not all - requires further investigation
0-39% (Unlikely Google): Most verification methods fail - likely not genuine Google traffic
