What is YandexFavicons?
Yandex identifies YandexFavicons as the agent that downloads a site's favicon for display in search results. It is separate from the general YandexBot indexing crawler. Yandex's robot list says it does not take general robots.txt rules into account, a useful distinction when favicon requests appear despite broad crawl restrictions.
