Web Crawler
What is LinkupBot?
Linkup says this crawler discovers and retrieves publicly accessible pages for the search index behind its search and AI-grounding services. It follows applicable robots.txt rules. Linkup publishes source IP ranges and recommends checking the IP as well as the LinkupBot token because user-agent headers can be forged.
User Agent String
LinkupBot/1.0 (LinkupBot for web indexing; https://linkup.so/bot; [email protected])
How to Control LinkupBot
Block Completely
To prevent LinkupBot from accessing your entire website, add this to your robots.txt file:
# Block LinkupBot
User-agent: LinkupBot
Disallow: /
Block Specific Directories
To restrict access to certain parts of your site while allowing others:
User-agent: LinkupBot
Disallow: /admin/
Disallow: /private/
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /public/
Set Crawl Delay
To slow down the crawl rate (note: not all bots respect this directive):
User-agent: LinkupBot
Crawl-delay: 10
How to Verify LinkupBot
Verification Method:
Check the source IP against Linkup's current published CIDR list and require the LinkupBot user-agent token.
Check the source IP against Linkup's current published CIDR list and require the LinkupBot user-agent token.

Flexible Pattern
/LinkupBot[\s\/]?[\d\.]*?/i
Vendor Match
/.*Linkup.*LinkupBot/i

readfile('cache/' . md5($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']) . '.html');
exit;
}
return true;
